Keep Fruit Flies, Pantry Moths, and Clothes Moths Out of Your Home
Pests inside the home are more than a nuisance — they spoil food, ruin clothing, and have a way of coming back no matter how often you clean. Alpha Scents Home Use products give you a non-toxic, pesticide-free way to catch them where they live: in the kitchen, the pantry, and the closet. Each trap is simple to set up, can be placed out of sight, and is non-toxic for use in the home.
VINEGAR FLY TRAP
THE PEST
Fruit flies (vinegar flies) gather around ripening fruit, vegetables, and baked goods, and they multiply quickly once they find a food source. Onions, bananas, and tomatoes left on the counter are common hot spots.
HOW TO USE
Our Vinegar Fly Trap (Natural Catch® Plus) comes pre-baited and ready to use — no mixing, no liquid, and no mess. Its patented design can be hidden within fruit, vegetable, or pastry displays, or stand freely on countertops and in display cases. Each trap contains a pre-measured, non-toxic attractant and lasts 30+ days. Fruit fly populations are typically reduced 70%–80% or more. The trap is made from FDA-approved, recyclable, food-grade material.

PANTRY MOTH TRAP & LURE
THE PEST
The pantry moth, also known as the Indian meal moth (Plodia interpunctella), is a worldwide pest of stored food. Adults are small — about 9 mm long — and gray with rusty brown wing tips. Females lay 100–300 eggs directly on food such as flour, cereal, grains, dried fruit, nuts, and pet food, and the larvae feed and spin webbing inside the package. A full life cycle takes 40–55 days, allowing up to nine generations per year indoors.
HOW TO USE
The Pantry Moth Trap & Lure includes a Jackson Trap insert and a pheromone lure — the trap and lure must be used together. Remove the wax paper from the sticky insert, place the lure in the center or top corner of the card, and set the trap near the pantry where moths may be present. It can be placed out of sight if desired. One or two traps per room is sufficient. The lure lasts four weeks.

NOTE: Traps work best alongside good kitchen habits. Store dry and bulk foods in tight-fitting containers, and clean cupboards and shelves on a regular basis.

WEBBING CLOTHES MOTH TRAP & LURE
THE PEST
The webbing clothes moth (Tineola bisselliella) damages wool, silk, cotton, linen, and furs. The adult moths do not feed — the damage is done by the larvae, which hatch from clusters of 30–200 eggs and feed on fabric for months before pupating. There are typically two generations per year, and an infestation often goes unnoticed until holes appear in stored clothing.
HOW TO USE
The Webbing Clothes Moth Trap & Lure includes a Jackson Trap insert and a pheromone lure — the trap and lure must be used together. Remove the wax paper from the sticky insert, place the lure in the center or top corner of the card, and set the trap inside or near a closet or wardrobe where damage may occur. The trap can be placed out of sight. The lure has a 30-day field life.

NOTE: For best results, combine trapping with regular vacuuming and brushing of stored garments. Freezing or dry cleaning affected items can help eliminate an existing infestation.
