Now we have 12-week Brown Marmorated Stink Bug Lure

The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (Halyomorpha halys) is an invasive insect from East Asia that has become a major agricultural pest and household nuisance across much of North America and Europe. It is widely recognized for the pungent, cilantro-like odor it releases when disturbed or crushed. While they do not bite humans, sting, or cause structural damage, their ability to swarm homes by the thousands during the fall and their destructive feeding habits on over 170 plant species make them a significant concern. Wide variety of orchard crops, ornamentals, small fruit, field crops. Nuisance in buildings and households.

LIFE HISTORY Two generations per year. Adults overwinter in protective spaces in a sleeplike state. They emerge in March-April and begin mating within two weeks. They mate multiple times. During their lifetime, females deposit 400-500 eggs. Nymphs emerge in June and are present during the summer. Adults feed until September-October, then seek protective overwintering sites.
