McPhail Trap

I've had the trap in my fig tree over a week. My one tree has dropped over 1500 figs this season. I can see the flies all over my tree and literally flying around the trap. I followed the instructions to the letter and have only one fly in the trap. I am truly disappointed!

And, even though, after researching deep dive, I found no suggested remedies for BFF, these lures work!! After approximately 2 months I actually finally have a few good figs. Even though I was late to the game this year, I am hopeful I can get it done going forward. I have sadly lost probably hundreds of figs this year but I also trapped hundreds of these mean little red-eyed pests. Thanks to alpha scents !!
Look at the amount in the trap 😑

Service and product are great! But I sure would appreciate instructions so I know if I'm putting it and the lure together properly. And please explain to me how the plastic that the lure is in needs to be kept unpunctured? Don't you have to have some way for the pheromones to escape? Or is there something Im not understanding about the plastic it's enveloped in.?

Although I was told that the instructions were quite clear, they are not. I had to contact my resource to figure out how to attach the lure onto the trap.

After all of the complaints about this trap not coming with instructions, Alpha Scents should have learned and started including clear instructions on all traps.
