Field Life: Change the lure every 5 weeks. Application Notes:Place traps at the pink stage of bud development. Place the lure in the center of sticky bottom. Install at least one (1) trap per ha (2-3 traps recommended). Hang baited traps in the upper part of the tree crown. Place trap three (3) rows away from the edge of the orchard.
Every year I have codling moth infestation and I use the pheromone lure as an indicator for when to spray. The lure was out of stock at the vendor where I usually buy from, so I bought this from Alpha Scents.
At first I was very happy when I didn't see any moth in the trap hoping that there is no infestation this year. However, later as the fruits grew most were infected. Crop is fully ruined.
The trap/lure did not capture any. Completely ineffective.
