McPhail Trap

After all of the complaints about this trap not coming with instructions, Alpha Scents should have learned and started including clear instructions on all traps.

Easy to put together. Would be nice to have lure instructions included with the item. The lures are a separate purchase. The trap is supposed to have an area at the top to secure the lure with a paper clip- doesn’t exist- used duct tape.

I'm very pleased with Alpha Scents. Info about my fig problem was really helpful. The Mcphail trap and lures we're easy to order, arrived quickly and communication regarding the order was great.

Our fig tree is located in Northern California - east of San Francisco. We just learned that we may have a Black Fruit Fly infestation, so wanted to use the trap and lure to confirm. It’s too late right now, but we’ll look to the Spring to test.

The trap came without instructions. I had to Google how to set up the trap. Not seeing any fig black fly trapped. There was nothing provided to attach the tablet to the trap. I had to find my solution. Even website description is empty for the trap...
