Field Life: Change the lure every 30 Days Application Notes: FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS PRINTED ON LURE LABEL.
Traps should be placed in high risk areas: trees that had walnut husk fly damage in prior years, damp areas, large shaded trees, or near black walnut trees. Check traps at least twice a week.
DO NOT CUT OPEN or PUNCTURE lure body. DO NOT REMOVE POWDER FROM POUCH. HANG ON TRAP AS PROVIDED- See reference photos.
I only have 3 trees, but last year I detected my first Walnut Husk fly larva. This year, I put the lure and yellow card out on 6/4 and by 6/5 I had five Husk Flies, nothing else. It will be interesting what ends up on the card after a couple of weeks. I did not even realize they were already active. I'll put a second one out after I spray.
Thanks Ken - best of luck

Walnut Husk Fly Lure
We have been using these lures successfully for years with the double sided yellow sticky card. The lures attract the hatched husk fly and help us know when to spray.
Thanks Charles - we appreciate your feedback

Bags Not Hole Punched
The lure bags were not hole punched, which is making trap assembly very difficult.
I apologize - we typically punch holes in the bags. it looks like we missed a few.
